Escape from everyday life, meet like-minded people and immerse yourself in the wildest forms of nature.
Our club was founded in June 2019, on the most depleted land that one could find. During this time, the farm opened its doors to all those who want to learn about organic food growing, permaculture, trees, medicinal plants, DIY, and how to live a healthy, happy life without any consideration for profit. Our aim is to leave a legacy for future generations :)
During this time, scores of helpers from all over the world have helped us plant and take care of 350 indigenous baby trees and counting :)

You will learn from an organic gardener with decades of experience and with multiple DIY tool skills. You will also learn about different trees, health, nutrition, minimalism and plants, and how to use them medicinally. Since we will only work about 4-5 hours a day, you will have plenty of time to explore the charming village of Rabat with its quaint cafeterias, or to trek and explore sunny Malta :)
I can also help you practice your English while we work. The more you stay, the more stuff I can teach you :)
We are offering an unforgettable permaculture learning experience which will be hard to find elsewhere.
The club is in one of the most breathtaking places in Malta, on the west coast, surrounded by hills, the sea and a beautiful little valley.
Volunteers come to us to practice, learn a whole plethora of skills, before they start their own land regeneration inside their own community.
Besides learning about organic gardening, permaculture, Health and nutrition, you can also learn about Medicinal plants and Malta’s history, depending on your individual interests. You can also learn how to use the famous broadfork. Ask me anything!
Although we sometimes sell excess vegetables, our main focus is on education. The club is a demonstration site, where unusual gardening ‘experiments’ are the norm, so that we can share the outcome with the public, other farmers and growers.

Our motto is ‘LETS MAKE MALTA GREEN AGAIN!’ and we would love to see you share what you learn so that we can Green Back the Whole World!
We don’t make profit, and our only sources of income is by gardening for locals, workshops and through tree adoptions and donations. All income is reinvested back into the land.
You will need to cook for yourself, but we are happy to offer veggies from the land, as well as pasta, rice, potatoes, eggs and such, so that everyone is well fed :)
Work is hard, but we will offer fruit, snacks and herbal tea on the land during break time.
Smoking is not allowed on the land, but you can smoke at the parking area a short walk away.
Note that we are minimalists, we live a poor, hard, but happy life. We are also health nuts, but we won’t press that on you unless you’d love to learn more ;)
Most of us are vegetarians and thus we cannot provide fish or meat. However, we can offer simple, quick vegetarian ideas for you to experiment with, and free range eggs from farmer Johnny to keep you happy :)

The land is in a very wild location about 25 minutes walk from the nearest tiny village
If the weather allows and conditions allow, we can offer our tent for you to camp and a camping bedding mat and a light for the night, or a hammock with a cover on top. We have a little outdoor gas stove and a simple outdoor kitchen cupboard on the land with a ‘table’ and sitting layout made out of pallets. So, be prepared that the ‘accommodation’ is extremely primitive.
You will be camping and sleeping alone on the land, with a very limited mobile data reception, until I arrive the next day. It can get VERY windy or stormy sometimes, and if something happens, I will be far away. This makes me quite worried!
If you prefer a more comfortable place, you can choose to pay for accommodation in Rabat, Mtarfa or Bahrija, from where I can pick you up and drive you back, providing you with the food you need and fresh vegetables from the land :)
Malta is in the European Union, and one of the sunniest countries, which is also brimming with beaches, culture and history. Museums and temples are always nearby, as well as the sea :)
We welcome everyone from all social backgrounds, and we practice equality.

There is a very quiet public parking with breathtaking views of the land and the sea, just 5 minutes walk from the land :)
Obedient pets are welcome. Since we don’t have any fencing and young plants, pets need to be kept on a leash, to keep them out of trouble.
