We are a professional couple ( engineer and teacher) who live permanently in the Mayenne department in Pays de la Loire, France. We have four adult children who currently live and work in the UK.
Our home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large sitting room and dining room, kitchen with all mod cons. We have fast and reliable fiber internet to the house.
Our grounds cover 5 acres, so we have a lot of maintenance to do. Workaway helpers would need to be competent with gardening tools, be practical and capable, as well as enjoying physical work.
We also have a large donkey and a Shetland pony, so you should feel comfortable around animals.
Our house is in a small, pretty village which is just 4 kilometres (15 minutes on a bike, which you can use) from an historic town with plenty of shops and bars.
We would prefer couples.

The house is within 2 hours of various towns such as Alencon and Le Mans, Normandy beaches and famous landmarks such as Mont St. Michel.
