  Hi! My name is Katia, I was born in Turin 43 years ago. I really love nature, so I decided to live in Valchiusella four years ago.
  Valchiusella extends a few kilometers from Ivrea and takes its name from the stream that crosses it, the Chiusella, once a source of energy for the numerous factories linked to the important iron mines of the valley. Here nature and man interact perfectly: livestock farming, agriculture, rural and sports tourism still tell the story of the richness of biodiversity and traditional knowledge implemented in everyday life.
  Here I find my place: a home with a lot of green around, woods and a stream. I love spending my free time trekking, gathering wild herbs and tending the vegetable garden.
  I live with my dogs: Puzza and Ercole, my cat Orso and Roberto, called Mudi.
  My dogs are two neutered males, quite accustomed to the presence of other people. Ercole, in particular, is a very sensitive dog but a little insecure so he suffers the presence of people who are not used to being with dogs. If he senses that you are afraid, then he is afraid too; if he senses that you are uncertain, then he is uncertain too about what to do. Orso is a cuddly and somewhat intrusive cat. Mudi is a carpenter, but he is very busy so we meet him in the evenings and on Sundays.

  During your stay you can discover Valchiusella, which is a place where nature reigns supreme with its meadows, woods, lakes, streams and rocks.
  You can go hiking and trekking, even with bikes, electric bikes and on horseback; you can practice sport climbing; you can enjoy a cool dip in the Chiusella.
  The various villages that compose it are also very beautiful, with their ancient streets, churches and fountains.
  There are many typical restaurants, and there is even a vegan restaurant with a Finnish sauna! Furthermore, it is possible to have fun on the weekend thanks to the various evenings proposed by local tourist offices and local associations.
  A flaw is the connection with public transport. The bus passes from Monday to Saturday, and connects the villages of the valley with 7 daily passages. The nearest train is in Ivrea, reachable by bus.
  If you come with your own car, be prepared to drive in very narrow streets.
  Regarding me, I can pass on my knowledge in movement sciences, which is my job from over 20 years, in dog education, in natural cultivation and in spontaneous plants.

  Ajuda

  I need help in three areas: cleaning the parts of the house used for storage; taking care of the greenery outside, including the vegetable garden; house renovation.
  The first two types of work do not require any particular skills, but a great desire to work with your hands because the main objective is to remove from the ground plants that are not useful for grazing and the vegetable garden.
  Since the house is still under renovation, someone with experience with plastering and plumbing is helpful.
  If the worker loves cooking, it would be ideal. We are omnivores, but very happy to learn vegetarian and vegan recipes. We would also like to practice the English language, because I have a school level while Mudi doesn't speak it at all! It won't be easy, but we intend to apply ourselves!

  Acomodação

  The room faces east, with a window that lets in the sun in the morning. It is furnished with two single beds and a single-door wardrobe with a drawer. It is possible to add a small desk. The bathrooms are shared; the one on the living floor only has a toilet, while on the ground floor there is a fully equipped bathroom.
  If you want more privacy you can sleep in a tent, with a queen size inflatable mattress.

  We are smokers, and we like to drink wine at the table. We love listening to music while we do housework. We spend our free time meeting friends and going events, especially musical and dancing ones. We don't have any kind of prejudice, but we hate fascists, racists and sexists.
