Hey, I'm Stephanie!

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest but have spent the past several years in New Orleans, Louisiana and consider it home. Living in the Deep South has been a bumpy road of highs and lows, but has taught me a great deal about nature, natural disasters, community, mutual aid, making meaningful connections, resilience, culture, and so much more. There's nowhere else quite like it. That being said, I'm always excited to learn about and immerse myself in other cultures and ways of living!

I am often a homebody and introvert who enjoys the company of my cats, but I will always look for opportunities to be in nature, go on adventures, volunteer in the community, support local music, have cultural experiences, and eat good food, homemade preferred :].

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

The internet/YouTube have been incredible resources for a DIYer like me. I'm mechanically inclined and enjoy any opportunity to create or repair.

I've helped my dad remodel their home and I do many of the repairs on my own home. I've replaced the screen on my laptop and (less successfully) old cell phone. A proud achievement I made last year was replacing the hybrid battery in my Prius! I also enjoy creating headpieces and costumes for Mardi Gras and any other occasion in New Orleans. I love cooking, baking, fermenting, and eating (is that a skill?).
