Description

Hey! My name is Olivia, I'm 21 years old and I've been traveling for 4 years now. I began my journey right out of highschool and I've never looked back. So far I've spent almost a year in Spain, mostly in Barcelona and Fuerteventura (loved them so much I couldn't leave). I volunteered at hostels on the coast Mexico, spent months in Sri Lanka traveling the entire country by train, bus and tuktuk. I rented a van and did a roadtrip from the north-most part of Italy all the way till I had to get on a ferry to get to Sicilia. I've done shorter visits to Austria and Germany as well as through some the southern part of North America; been to Costa Rica, Panama, and La Republica Dominicana.

Also something most people find interesting: I grew up all throughout South America. I started in Cochabamba, Bolivia (1y), Huancané, Perú (5yrs), Quito, Ecuador (2 yrs), Caracas, Venezuela (8 months) and then ended up settling in Mexico City, Mexico for the last 10 years of my childhood.

Anyways, I love extreme sports (anything that gives me that much needed adrenaline rush), dancing, swimming, creating, working with my hands, meeting new people, working with children, but really just anything that makes me feel alive and thankful.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very active and can pick up most skills very quickly. I have worked in hardware stores, hotels, restaurants, ticket offices, snowboard instructing, retail stores, running a mountain lift, hostels, coffee shops and an ice cream shop. I'm currently working at the top of a mountain running the alpine coaster, rock climbing walls, and ropes courses. All of the jobs I have had in the past have given me excellent skills in management, money handling, customer service, presentation, and many other things.

I love playing sports of any kind, but I did competitive gymnastics and varsity volleyball throughout high school. After graduating I moved to a mountain to be able to snowboard almost daily. I recently picked up skating since the snow melted off the mountain and I am really enjoying it. I've got my ollie and pop shove it down, and I am currently working on my backside 180. I find photography insanely cool but haven't gotten into it yet, so if you know anything about photography I'd love to learn! I also love doing ceramics more than anything else on this earth. Creating with my hands is one of the most gratifying things, and having it be clay really makes me feel connected to the earth and to ancient art.
