Hi! I'm Kuranda! I was born and raised in northern and southern California. I can't wait to make beautiful memories, meet new people, and discover new cultures. I’m wildly passionate about sustainability and farming, but I'm just getting started. I would love to learn about how to become more environmentally conscious and live a healthier life. I am hard-working, passionate, and always happy to help wherever it's needed. I love live music and going to concerts. I try to spend as much time as I can outside, mostly swimming or hiking. I've taken a few yoga classes, but I'd like to get more into that and some meditation too! I believe that time spent amongst trees is never wasted time. I've been so lucky with my past work exchange experiences, and I'm so grateful for all the wonderful friends and families I've met along the way. I can't wait to see what life has in store for me on my next journey!

I've been a full-time nanny since I was 16 years old. I swam competitively my entire life. I taught swim lessons and coached swim teams ages 5–17 for over 6 years. I was so incredibly lucky as a kid to help my dad in our family pet store and eventually take on the responsibility of managing it. Caring for animals has always been a huge passion of mine from a very young age.
