Hey! I'm Gracie, 22 years old, from the UK and am graduating university (I study Psychology) this year, with the hopes of travelling India/Sri Lanka in August.
Over the last few years I have travelled Central America, the States and East Africa, fuelling my drive to travel more and building my confidence up with immersing myself in new cultures and ways of life.
Being an extroverted person who thrives in social interactions, I love connecting with new people, making new friends, gaining alternate perspectives and feeling part of a community.
I am flexible, and enjoy a range of activities. Particularly spending time in nature, doing yoga, practising mindfulness, cooking, time with animals and art projects. I feel I am an enthusiastic, caring and kind person with a diverse skillset, willing to offer an extra pair of hands wherever necessary.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Cleaning/house maintenance: I have experience in cleaning through working in a number of hospitality jobs for 7 years. My current role is a barista in a coffee shop, where I also clean the store at the end of the day. I am efficient and effective with cleaning and household tasks.

Food: I love cooking, baking and preparing food. I worked in a cafe for several years whilst at school, fuelling this ardour. Cooking is now a passion and hobby for me: I love to experiment with flavours and try new things. I am pescatarian, but would be willing to prepare meat.

Art: I am an A* achieving A-level art student and love painting and being creative. If you have any art projects that you may need help with, I can give my best shot.

Childcare: I spent a summer in Taiwan with my family, looking after 3 cousins full time (ages 6months, 2years and 4years). I also au paired for a family in Mallorca for 2 months; looking after 4-year-old twins primarily, whilst also spending time with their older son (10-years) and daughter (13-years). Further, I was a sleep-away camp counsellor last year with Camp America. I was responsible for looking after a range of children through the summer as a high ropes instructor (4-16years). The children who I cared for out of activity hours who were in my dorm were 11-years-old girls. I feel as though I am well equipped to care for children and I feel comfortable in this role.
