Hi, I am Elizabeth and I come from Latvia!

I am open-minded, curious, always ready for a challenge, and will never say "no" to a new opportunity.

People frequently question me "how are you not scared?," "but what about life here?," "aren't you going to be unhappy being alone?," and "what even is the point of travelling" when I describe my travel intentions to them. These questions have clear answers to me because I believe that traveling while still young is one of the best experiences I can have.

Instead of feeling regret over things I didn't do, opportunities I didn't take, and places I haven't been, I want to look back on my trip and recall all the valuable adventures I have had. Since traveling is unquestionably a huge learning experience, I also want to pick up new skills as I go from the people I meet, work exchanges I participate in, and difficulties I encounter.

I want to see everything this planet has to offer because I know there is so much more than I can even comprehend. I want to dive with dolphins in Australian waters, hike Mayan pyramids with natives, attend silent retreats in India and maybe even climb Everest? Who knows! Let me know what you have in mind and I probably won't say "no"! :)

Yes, I would always be happy to learn a new language since I believe knowing a variety of languages is greatly useful. I enjoy it when people can talk in other languages, and I would love to have that ability myself! In addition, if anyone is interested in studying Latvian, which is spoken by very few people worldwide, I am willing to teach them.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I believe anything that I do I always give it my all. I aim to be accurate and precise and want for others to be satisfied with my work!

My prior work experience in a hostel taught me a lot, including how to properly plan and carry out personal travels and give hostel visitors the best possible experience. My responsibilities while working in the hotel industry included managing social media, maintaining the hostel, and—most importantly—entertaining the visitors and organizing tourist excursions. I've learnt how to deal with problems that arise when traveling because overcoming difficulties is a large part of the traveling lifestyle.

In my opinion, I am good at communicating with people, because I have worked in customer service field. I am not afraid to start a conversation and always want to get to know new people. My native language is latvian, I talk english fluently and know a little bit of russian, french.

- Taking care of children because of my two younger sisters
- Gardening skills because of my work experience in this field.
- I like spending time with animals and would love to learn to care for them.

I enjoy swimming, and my friends are aware that I will always be the first to volunteer for a brief swim at any time during the day. I adore the sea in general, I could spend the most of my time there and I feel at home there, so I'd like to learn how to surf or go scuba diving. Additionally, I'll probably say it again, but I love meeting new people! I would like to hear their perspectives on life and exchange life stories.
