Hello everyone !

We are a couple on a road trip, looking for new adventures in the next few months ! We are super motivated and excited to explore new places in Canada and to do new experiences. We are hard workers, respectful and joyful people.

Here are our presentations :

Dareyne
I am Dareyne, I'm 27 years old and I was born in France. When I was 13, my family decided to move to Chicoutimi, a little town in Quebec. I did a lot of farm work, as I’ve always been surrounded by horses and other animals (chicken, cats, dogs, ...) since I'm 7. I gave horse riding lessons to kids when I was younger, I did some competition and I worked in a ranch for 7 months, in alberta. I'm working since I'm 14years old. I've been in different fields (farms, restaurant, teaching, pedagogical field, etc) and I think that's why I always want another challenge and this year would be woofing for a year ! I also love cooking, hiking, biking, ...

Lucas
Hey ! I'm Lucas and I'm 25 years old. I'm french and I was born in a little village in "Ardèche" (french area). Unlike my girlfriend, I don't know much about horses but I do love animals. I've had few jobs when I was younger in different farms and I was picking fruits most of the time (and try not to eat them !). I've always been working since I'm a teenager. I'm more than ready to learn new things ! I'm not fluent in English but I do understand it well.

Our story
I met Lucas almost 4 years ago, in Chicoutimi, during my studies at university. He was there as an exchange student and wasn't supposed to come back in Canada after this. He had to leave sooner than expected (Covid of course) and got back in France. But you know how are love stories, we never know how it goes ! Lucas had to finish his studies in France (Lyon). So I decided to go back in France and chase him ! (joking). The only condition was that when he was done with studies, we would come back in Canada and leave there. And there we go !

We have been woofing for the last few months and we are loving it ! We’ve been working with bisons, chickens, horses, cutting firewood, chainsawing, … . We’ve had most of our experiences through the “woofing website”.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are comfortable around animals and we are not scared to have durt on our hands.
Physical job doesn't scare us, and we will be more than happy to do any job around your place ! Lucas is pretty comfortable with chainsawing and splitting wood. We love animals and taking care of them. We worked in different farms few years ago (picking fruit, riding horses, giving horse riding lesson,…) and we would be happy to get any other new skills at your place !
