Description
Hello everyone! Christopher here, but most people call me Chris :) I live in a small and amazing country called Singapore. I consider myself a very easy-going, cheerful and friendly person and I would love to meet new people and experience new things!

I recently left my job in a property management/operation role to take a break from work and to explore what workaway has to offer!

I have travelled alone to Thailand, Myanmar and Taiwan. Not aplenty, but the people whom I've met from all over these amazing countries gave me experiences that were fulfilling and memorable to me and I would definitely love to experience this all over again.

My current plan is to experience workaway life in Canada and explore the beauty of this country till the end of 2021!

I am currently at my third workaway and the experiences have been enjoyable, fruitful and definitely memorable :)

Am currently doing a workaway in Yukon doing mostly farming works, helping out in the kitchen, gardening works, babysitting, helping out with housework and many other interesting chores!

We really enjoyed having Christopher with us for his 2 weeks. He fit in right away. He was very good with our pets and they loved him right back! Especially our Great Dane St Bernard x, Ruby. My very first workaway experience! And I feel sad. Feeling sad that I have to leave this family after 5 AMAZING weeks at their lovely home :(

Meghann never fail to show concern and constantly ask about our well-being. Asking us whether we slept well because of the cold weather(knowing we came from a very warm country), asking whether we need extra blankets, pillows, sweaters and so on, just to make us feel comfortable. She brought us around to experience the life of a Yukoner; swimming in an extremely cold lake, warming ourselves in a portable sauna, ice skating, hiking, watching a play, celebrating Thanksgiving and Halloween, and experiencing things we would never have the chance to in my hometown. She always ensured that we have done what we wished to experience and I am genuinely grateful for that. Her infectious laughter and comical expressions always brought a smile to our faces too!

Ryan on the other hand is a walking Wikipedia! He can answer any of our questions on any topic and I am shocked how detailed he can explain anything that we asked. Most of the chores were done with Ryan supervising and he is a very patient and a very willing teacher. The chores are actually somewhat fun too! He is also an expert at fixing anything and it is a sight to see him being so determined to fix something. Also, he looks like Keanu Reeves so it felt nice to be with a Hollywood star everyday!

Both Meghann and Ryan are the epitome of proper parenting and I wish I would be able to teach my future children the same way they do. I am genuinely impressed with how they constantly communicate to their children with such patience and love even though both of them are so active and playful! 😂 Both Meghann and Ryan are awesome cooks too! The meals were always sumptuous and tasty and I just have to take photos of all the meals they whipped up! Not forgetting the movie nights we all had together, and the friends/family friends that were introduced to us too!

The kids, Margaret and Benji, are just the cherry on top of the cake! They made me feel young, happy and very alive! They are so full of energy that they seemed like they are forever running around except when it’s time for their bedtime. They are so so so precious. I will really miss playing and being with both of them and I’m sure they will grow up to be awesome people.

I will forever miss this lovely family, the other lovely workawayers(Leo&Lucie), the dogs(especially Duke & Jasper), the cat, the horses and the home with the million dollar view! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING ONCE AGAIN! :)
