hi:) my name is Carolin. I'm 20 years old and I'm studying Sociology in Innsbruck in Austria.

I took a gap year after I had graduated from High School in 2021. During that year I spent a month in Tanzania and a month in Paris doing Workaway. I had so much fun exploring new places, cultures and meeting lots of new people! I want to keep on doing that!

I'm a positive, openminded, passionate and smiley person. I love to have good company, but also enjoy spending some time by myself. I'm always down for an adventure though!!

I love to do sports. I work as a ski instructor in winter and currently I've been doing lots of yoga and running. I learnt to surf a few years ago and my goal is, to catch up with it this summer:) Whenever I'm in the mountains or at the seaside, I'll be the happiest version of myself.
Apart from sports I love to be creative. I've been growing up with paintings, exhibitions and arts all over the place since my grandpa used to be an arts teacher and painter. Myself, I have always looked up to him and want to keep on carrying the creativity through the family. My new project is to get into DJing, let's see where that's gonna take me...

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've always been a social butterfly...
In High School I've been class representative every year, I've been head girl and I used to be a tutor for the younger students. Also I founded a social project with some of my class mates. We created a partnership with a school in Tansania for which we gathered donations. Actually we had a full trip planned to Tansania, but then Corona happened and sadly we could't go :((

I worked as a freelancing journalist for a newspaper in Munich, where I had to do surveys, interviews and reports. Well, talking to foreign people is a pleasure to me, because I'll always learn something new and I just love to chat.

Apart from that I've been working as a hostess at several events or fairs. My tasks went from greeting people, to hand out food, to share information and help the clients.

This winter I've worked as a ski instructor in Austria, where I was employed at a hotel. That meant it was a very familial atmosphere and my job didn't end on the pist, but went on into always being in favour of the clients and hanging out with them after skiing. There i had every kind of skiing groups: it ranged from beginners kids to advanced youth or kids to beginners or advanced adults.

In terms of language, I'd love to share my abilities and also improve my skills. I'm fluent in English, because I've spent half a year in New Zealand at a host family. Furthermore I passed the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English.
I learnt French in High School for six years and participated in a school exchange, where I spent two weeks at a host family in France. With my family I've spent a lot of holidays in France. My French skills are good and I'd love to improve them! :))

I also learnt Spanish in school for 3 years. My knowledge there is on beginners level.
