Description

I'm in the middle of a Gap Year--taking some time to travel and work and meet people before I go to university. I was born in Washington, DC but spent most of my years in Michigan--the midwestern part of the United States.
I love sports, especially soccer (football to the majority of the world). I love to read & meet new people, too.
I've worked part-time for almost 4 years in a Retirement Community as a food server. I've also worked as a teacher's aide in my hometown elementary school. The first part of my Gap Year (Sept-Dec. 2016) was spent in Tanzania, Africa as a teacher's aide in a rural school. I love working with children--we get along really well. I also enjoy helping older people with their needs. Even though I didn't intend to work with the extreme ends of the age timeline, I have to say, I've had some incredibly rewarding experiences and am better because of them.
I have 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 cats and a mom and dad and we all live together in a 125 year old home in a small village outside Ann Arbor, Michigan. It's been wonderful growing up here, but I'm eager to explore and live in other places around the world.

If you're willing to teach me, I can pretty much do anything you need done. At least, I'm open to all work you need done. I'm a quick learner and I've had a variety of work experiences.
