Hello there! Thank you for taking time to read a little bit about me, Callie B!
There are many things that bring me happiness. I have always been in love with traveling and everything that comes along with it: meeting new people, trying new foods, seeing different cultures, etc. I love to learn from others/ nature and also love to teach others. I taught kindergarten after graduating college in 2019 till COVID hit and nannied until moving to Madrid in January 2022 to teach English. I would have to say passion and people keep me motivated. I am all around a total people person, interacting with humans, tiny or big, is one of my favorite aspects of life.
I am a very adventurous person and love being on the go. In my down time I enjoy hiking, skiing, hanging with friends and family, rollerblading, trying new foods, over indulging in my famous homemade guacamole and sipping tequila.
I love my family, friends, living in the moment and making true human connection.
I volunteered through International Volunteer Head Quarters (IVHQ) in Thailand for three months back in late 2016. I helped the hill tribes with their outdoor work such as digging waterways, painting schools, planting rice in the rice fields, etc. I also taught the orphans and monks English! I have a done couple Workaways, all on farms- in Crete, northern Croatia and southern Albania.
I have been over twenty states in the US, thirty countries and I plan on making the list much longer!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked with children since I was twelve years old. I decided from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated in 2019 with a degree in Early Childhood Education from NAU and taught kindergarten and nannied until I moved to Madrid in January 2022 to teach English. I have picked up on a little bit of Spanish but would love to learn more.
I am a total nature love so I enjoy working outdoors. In the past I have built and planted my own garden, helped paint houses (indoors and outdoors) , dug trenches, worked on my families farm in Minnesota with many different types of animals, etc.
Since I am from Arizona (an oven four months of the year!), I am used to working indoors as well.
One of favorite things to do in my free time that I would say I am very good at is cooking! I love to cook just about everything. I was vegetarian/ pescatarian for a few years so 75% of my meals are veggies and carbs but I enjoy cooking everything :)
