Description

My name is Shelby. I am a Christian who has started a nonprofit organization called Bows for Seeds ministries our goals are to build free self-sufficient eco-friendly farms as well as schools, clinics and churches around the would. We have been raising money but selling handmade goods at markets but due to covid-19 our venues keep being closed down. So I am volunteering on as many farms and other kinds of NGO (Nonprofit organization) as I can to learn as many skills to help Bows for Seeds ministries grow. I would also love to partner with other NGO and help them grow.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have many skills that I would love to exchange for your knowledge. I have some domestic and animal skills. Not so much farming and construction skills but I'm hoping that will change with your help. I am a avid hiker. When I am home I hike 5 to 10 miles a day. In 2015, I Graduated from Early Childhood Education program. I have some service industry experience as a bartender for 3 years.

On the domestic front my experience includes managing households I have made budgets, paid bills, purchased groceries, planned and cooked meals as well as baked some fun treats, assigned chores, created activities, helped with homeschooling and homework not going to lie I stink at English but I'm great at math lol. I am also a great sewer!

My child care experience Includes the childhood education program, where I studied children curriculum learning and planning, interpersonal relationships and childhood development. I also have hands-on experience providing childcare for large amounts of children, I was a nanny to 6 kids. Also, I have experience providing childcare to children of all ages and all disabilities.

My Animal care experience is providing care to dogs, cats and ferrets. While providing care for these animals I've learned palliative care, handmade meal preparation, medical distribution, exercise routines and animal massage however I'm not an expert just an enthusiast. I have experienced cleaning up all kinds of messes. As well as the basic animal care such as feeding, walking, grooming and loving them. I also have experience riding horses.

On my workaways I'm hoping to learn everything about building and maintaining a NGO, home , a farm that is self-sustainable and eco-friendly.

More then anything I hope that through my experience with workaway I get to meet great people and make lifelong friends all around this world! Bless people, animals, and the earth through any bit of help that I can give them. A smile on the face is worth more than a dollar in the pocket!
