Hey guys, my name is Shanice. I am a 30 years old nature and animal loving farmgirl from northern Germany. I love to travel, meet new people, cultures and I am looking for an amazing experience abroad.

Currently I am studying Social Work and also work in youth welfare for the German Red Cross. Additionally I work at a youth farm, where I am working with diverse people and animals. With several environmental and social projects I am bringing children and also adults closer to the farm life. Beside that I sensitize people for sustainability and a patient handling with animals. I really love that kind of work, that’s why I am studying that profession now. In between I am looking for a new experience, where I can use and improve my own valuable farming and social working skills and give a helping hand, where it’s needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a creative and open minded person, with a lot experiences in the daily farmlife, child caring and animal handling. I grew up with horses and have been riding all my life.
Currently I am studying Social Work and working as an educator at a youthfarm in Germany.
I am working with children all ages and animals like dogs, horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and lots of other ones. My daily work mainly includes the caring of children and doing different eco projects with them and other visitors. Additionally I am dealing with usual farm work like gardening and animal caring. Furthermore I have a
quick comprehension and I really like to learn new things.

I grew up with horses and have own horses since my childhood.
On our farm in Germany I work mostly with young horses but also giving riding lessons for children. Currently we are training in english style of riding but we attach great importance to a horse-friendly and “natural” training with passion. Additionally I am very open minded to other training styles and love to learn and grow with much patient and respect together with the horses.
