Description
Hey! My name is Roberta and I am 21 years old. Even though I come from a very big city I love nature, gardening and other outdoor activities. I did Workaway once so far, worked voluntarily before in a school, on a farm and at the north sea coast in a nature conservation organisation. The latter has led me to study environmental sciences now. In my free time I love to do creative stuff like painting or sewing, to cook with friends and family or to do sports (preferably outside).
As I am a curious person, I look forward to experiencing adventures, meeting new people, gaining insights into other cultures and sharing skills.

My goal is to speak Spanish fluently at some point. I would also like to learn Swedish and French. I can imagine teaching German to other people and I am also very confident in English as it is the language of my studies.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
After graduating from high school, I did voluntary work at a school where I taught reading, writing and maths. I also spent two months on a farm where I fed the animals, mucked out their stalls and sanded garden furniture. I also planned the planting of the vegetable garden and cooked for the family from time to time. After that, I spent six months at the North Sea doing auxiliary scientific work and guiding groups of visitors through the Wadden Sea National Park. I really enjoyed the interaction with the many people who came from so many different places and it was fulfilling to excite them about nature and its protection. Today, I study environmental science and work in a museum where I take care of children's groups and teach them about different topics.
I'm very interested in everything to do with gardening, I did urban gardening myself for some time but I'm eager to get more experience in different forms of gardening. I also have a certain degree of handicraft skills (painting walls, building a shelf) but would love to improve them or learn new ones. Some other things that I could "teach" are german or english language, sewing (I would love to learn more about knitting), cooking and identifying birds (at least northern European species).
