Helloo! I'm Petrina from Malaysia and I'm very excited to help out here and there while travelling.
When I was a teenager, I used to be involved in several missionary projects around South East Asia, where we would build bridges, paint buildings, choreograph performances for orphanages and the like. As adulthood and a full-time office job came along, such opportunities have lessened but I sure miss it.
In 2013, however, I quit my job and went to America to be an Au Pair for one year. I had a wonderful time with the 3 kids and their family. Definitely picked up a lot of domestic skills throughout that year.
I love volunteering at festivals to help set up and build stuff. I may not have any carpentry background, but give me a tool and instructions and I'll be more than happy to follow them.
From June 2015 - July 2016, I hitchhiked from Stockholm back home to Kuala Lumpur by myself, with the tiniest budget. So I'm more than happy to rough it out or get dirty and muddy. I enjoy working around people. Or going solo. I love being at new places. Being out from big cities and in the midst of nature is always the best. I'm very low-maintenance. And extremely willing to learn.
So I'm looking forward to working with you and learning and helping out wherever or whoever. :)

I don't think I have outstanding skills, but I can do a good job.
I am a good cleaner and a better than alright cook.
I'm relatively comfortable with tools.
I love tending a fire.
I'm good at writing. Average at painting. But I enjoy both.
I'm a great listener, if you consider that a skill.
I'm also really patient. I smile a lot.
I've been cutting my own hair for over a year now, so I could probably give out decent haircuts.
Everything else, as long as it's not Maths, I can learn. ;)

I have a pretty good track record with all my previous employers and colleagues!
My Au Paring host family had no complaints either.
I've only Workaway-ed once previously, that was in Turkey. And the bosses were really pleased.
