Hi there,

I'm Lydia, I come from a small village in the Cotswolds and am currently travelling with two friends in Mexico for a couple months. I love the outdoors; gardening, taking long walks and wild swimming. At home I grow a lot of my own veggies and over summer I started an honesty box donating 100% of the profit to Surfers Against Sewage as I am passionate about ocean conservation and reducing waste: I also wrote and illustrated my own children's pop-up book for my EPQ on ocean pollution, raising environmental awareness while putting to use my creativity to use.
I love cooking and my last job was in a kitchen, making a variety of seasonal dishes and wood- fired pizzas. I am always helping around the house, decorating and assisting in DIY projects as my family is currently renovating our home. I have also worked with families and young children and am competent around horses.
Working in a variety of service roles over the last three years has earned me an adaptable nature with a good sense of humour and I can also make an excellent coffee! I have worked with a variety of people and love cultural exchanges and learning languages and have a good level of spoken French . I am excited to immerse myself in new cultures on my travels.
I worked on a Sardinian farm last summer, learning about the Agrotourisme business while helping in the garden, milking goats, making cheese and serving fresh, homemade produce to guests.
I am a certified 200hr Yoga Teacher with Aligned Yoga and taught in Morocco last summer for just over a month in a surf and yoga hostel.
