Hey,
I'm Jorinde, a design student from the north of Germany. I will take the next few months off to get out of the small town I live in to meet new people and countries.
Here in Germany, Im sharing my flat with 5 other people. I appreciate always having people around me with whom I can exchange ideas and be inspired by each other. This is a part of what I would like find in a workaway experience . People who love to share their passions and give me the opportunity to inspire them with mine.

I play the flute and a bit of piano and am most likely to be found outside in nature on a hike or camping. I actually grew up with bees, as my father is a (hobby) beekeeper, but only got persuaded to start beekeeping myself after a few bee stings. But now I have been beekeeping for a few years and have gained a lot of experience.

When I'm not outdoors, I spend a lot of time at the potter's wheel, trying to improve bit by bit. Clay is such a fascinating material that I fall in love with over and over again.
When there is time and money, I also tinker with my Van, which is slowly becoming a camper.

I am always happy to learn new things. I get excited about a lot of things and like to set myself challenges that I then want to achieve. I don't give in too quickly and try to do things well. I am very communicative and empathetic with other people. I like to help and like to see results at the end of the day. Still, there is so much I don't know and can't do and hope to have the opportunity to learn new things here.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I do many different things in my studies. I've designed flyers and logos, shot films, built websites, written and laid out books, illustrated, worked with pop-ups and taken photos. If you need help here, I will be able to support you well.
I have also worked with clay and plaster and can work on the potter's wheel.
I grew up in the countryside with lots of animals and a big garden. Here I always helped out a lot and learned to look after animals, work in the garden and do simple repairs. With friends, I managed a garden during my studies and renovated our house. Not only do I like to cook, but in my large shared apartment with frequent guests, I have also learned to cook for many people.
