Hello there, since September I’m cycling through Europe. I live a minimalistic life and I sleep in my tent on the beach, stay in hostels when I’m visiting a city and use sometimes Warmshowers for a warm and dry place to sleep. Nature, sea, people, culture, history and cities inspires me and makes me happy. But maybe the biggest thing I forget: the sun! That’s why I want to stay for a couple of weeks in sunny Andalusia!

I am looking for my first Workaway experience ever! I graduated in Urban Design and worked in a lunchroom and elderly home. I like to talk to people and I’m really interested by living close with nature. While cycling I became more and more aware of living a healthy and sustainable life. I’m really hardworking and I like to cook and learning more about different receipts.

It was a pleasure to have Jelmer on the farm with us for a week. He was an asset to us. Hard working, pleasant and cheerful and more than willing to get stuck into whatever we asked him to do. We wish Jelmer all the best on his travels and he is most welcome to look in on us again should he choose to do a second road trip through Andalucia.

Jelmer stayed with us for two weeks. He is a very respectful, hard working, wonderful human being. An athlete who is willing to do any job and is always smling and willing to help. Jelmer is the perfect workaway in every sense.

We are very happy to have hostd him and he is welcome to come back anytime.

I spend two wonderful weeks with Lawrence and Alina. This British/Mexican couple were great hosts. I really felt home and they treated me as one of their own children.
