Hello people, I’m a new born in the Workaway World and I look forward to meet you !
I’m a 22 years old French woman and I’m living in Toulouse, South France. I was studying Economics and Law and I decided to take a gap year to "widen the field of possibilities" as they say in my family. I want to discover new places with people and life stories that will help me evolve and share with me their way of life, their ways of thinking and their customs.
I can describe myself as an open-minded person, calm and sweet but full of energy. I love talking and laughing (I have a good sense of humor). I always have a smile on my face and I'm always ready to lend a hand with anything ! I am a curious person, who likes to discuss and learn. Besides, my classes are in English, so I have a minimum of professional vocabulary (B2-C1) but I try to be really comfortable in everyday life. I would like to meet people who help me to speak English better: to have conversations on various subjects, to correct my mistakes, ...
I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by greenery, fields, forests, .. and of course animals! It’s difficult for me to spend a day without contact with them, whether it be dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, goats, cows etc. Since I was little I have been riding horses. Today I can describe myself as an intermediate rider: I know how to ride independently (walk, trot, gallop, jump (but not a mountain either)) and take care of a horse (grooming, food, put on protections / blankets) and its environment (making boxes, maintaining fences, etc.). In France, I take Galop 5 level courses (I don't know if the reference system is the same everywhere ...). I am comfortable in nature, no matter the weather and what time I have to get up, and I am not afraid of getting my hands dirty.
I would like to meet people as passionate as me, who can teach me new things about horses, and help me improve as a rider and as a person. I want to talk, to have concerts relations and projects and take part in community living. I’m looking for every experiences that will teach me about others and about myself !
Regarding the more practical aspects, I have an international driving license and I am fully vaccinated. I have no health problems (no allergies, ...), I eat everything and I know how to adapt to my environment. I can also share a bit of France with my hosts: speak French if they wish, cook, …

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a girl of nature: I love being outside in the great outdoors! I've always had animals, so taking care of them is second nature! Whether it is dogs, cats, horses, cows, sheep, ... I am familiar with these animals and I will take care of them as best as possible according to their eating habits, hours of outings, moments of complicity, ...
I have more experience with horses, as I said previously my family owns several and I grew up with them! I am an intermediate rider: I know how to ride alone (but I always take advice on how to improve myself) and take care of a horse. I am extremely interested in new approaches in terms of riding, care, and giving food.
I will be happy to help you with all farm and animal related activities!
Loving the outdoors doesn't mean that I don't know how to take care of a house and its inhabitants! I have lived alone since I was 18, I know how to maintain a house (cleaning, laundry, ...) and cook. As a good Frenchwoman I find it a real moment of sharing that I appreciate.
