Hey! 🌞

I am Gwen, a happy, trustworthy & curious young woman (25y old) from the Netherlands, city Den Haag, near by the beach.

I always loved animals & nature. At home we have/had chickens, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, tame rats & hedgehogs. (The hedgehogs are from the hedgehog shelter; once they have strengthened, we release them back into the wild.)

Since I was 6 years old, I became vegetarian & now I mostly eat plant-based food/vegan. 🌱

I am a graduated graphic designer, specialised in Lifestyle & Media.
At the moment I am the owner of Golden Oasis: an ethical jewelry brand with own designed jewelry, made of recycled silver, gold & gemstone beads.
In my free-time I would like to work on my jewelry label (it's a webshop, so I do need wifi/internet). ☺️

✨ With what can I help you?
I love horses, so it will be amazing if I can work & learn more about them! 🐎
I have worked as a volunteer at a horse center in NL & in the past I did horse riding. I stopped riding due to the way they treat the horses. If it’s more friendly, like natural horsemanship, i would love to ride horses (if they would like) & work together with kindness.

I can help with the animals (chickens, pigs, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, camels, dogs, cats, etc. I like them all) 🐓🐷🦙🐄, creative projects/illustrations 👩‍🎨, paint an artwork on a wall 🎨, help with mosaic &, if clearly explained how to do it, I can help with gardening (would love to know more about permaculture 🌱) & building (I'm not a carpenter, but I can hopefully do something. Not afraid to make my hands dirty). :) (For building I only work withe people who are patient & are willing to really explain it to me, otherwise I prefer to help with other tasks.)

- have clear communication (for example that the work is explained well, so I know what I am doing & that I am useful) 📞

•Working with animals
•Vegetarian or vegan place
(I can cook +/- 3 days a week for everyone?)
•Positive people around me & enough alone time/freedom
•10h, 12h or 15h a week working for you (I know it’s not a lot, but I will work hard these hours)
•Time to also work on my jewelry brand
(I have my own apartment. When I am abroad, I still need to pay my apartment rent every month in NL, so I need to make money, while being on a beautiful Workaway. :))
