hey there, I am Gawain!

I'm here because I love traveling and I want to explore different ways of living. learn, grow and meet people and places. Like many of us I guess 😄

so far on my journey, I harvested olive a and did some farm work.

I love nature, the forest and all kind of outdoor activities. After some years in the office, I want to get my hands dirty, build, construct, plant and harvest and just spend lots of time outside 🌻🌞
with workaway I can leave my comfort zone to grow and learn new skills (useful and useless ones :D), e.g. learn more about permaculture, juggling, surfing y hablar español🇪🇸!

No specific itinerary or time limit, just going with the flow.
looking to cross the Atlantic with wind power 🌬 ⛵️

I'm a social guy who smiles a lot and likes community!
going out, just chatting, boardgames, live music, concerts and electronic music festivals, yoga, meditating or just watching the sea or the stars in silence.

but yes, I can happily help where it is needed and learn quickly:)

I have experience in in guiding groups and leading activities with children, gardening and forestation, bike repair, work around the house, painting etc, construction (I'm no professional!).
Also organized some events and worked in gastro/bar jobs :)

harvesting olives and taking care of animals in Portugal was amazing for me!
