Heyhey, I'm Davide, a 29-year-old from Italy. However, I've come to see myself less as a citizen of my home country and more as a citizen of the world, always ready to embrace the diversity and richness of other cultures.
I've had some amazing experiences travelling in the past, meeting new people, and exploring different places around the world. Recently, I took a break in my home country for just over a year to focus on my professional life, but now I'm back on the road, eager for new experiences! I'll be traveling around Southeast Asia, looking to connect, learn, and share, being committed to giving my best to my hosts.

I'm an easy-going and empathetic person who loves engaging with new people. My background is in IT, working with servers and the like, but I found that the role I was covering wasn't a good fit for me. So, I left it behind to work on my own projects over the internet while I travel. I'm currently running a small project that takes up a bit of my daily time, but I have plenty of free time and I'm pretty flexible with my work.

I'm excited to be on the road again and i'm open to any scenario that might cross my path. I love working with people and communities that seek to promote alternative ways of life. I'm a humble and understanding guy with an infinite curiosity about the world around us. I enjoy nature and can't resist petting an animal when I see one, as I've had the opportunity to work in different animal shelters, mostly with dogs, and I've come to appreciate the beauty of the connections we can create with other creatures.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In my past experiences with Workaway, I've worked in diverse communities with people from all around the world, tackling all sorts of tasks. I've helped with construction jobs and gardening, worked in hostels assisting with social events, and cared for an endless number of dogs in various animal shelters. I'm a quick learner and a flexible guy.

With my professional experience, I've found myself good at planning, managing a team, and seeing things from a different perspective with a wide lens. As I have much experience with technology, I can surely also help with computers, and anything related to them or tech in general. I'm capable of managing social media accounts, websites, and especially the strategic planning behind them.

I love to cook and learn new recipes and different way to cook, have experience in cooking in team for 30-40 people. I have a passion for cooking and love learning new recipes and different ways to prepare meals. I've even had the experience of cooking in a team for 30+ people, which was both challenging and rewarding. I find that food not only nourishes the body, but also brings people together, creating a sense of community.

In addition to my love for food, I also have a keen interest in psicology and meditation. I believe in the power of mindfulness and the importance of staying connected to oneself. I'm also an outdoor enthusiast and have a bit of a knack for climbing, even if i never tried to climb on rock.
