I am 20 years old and study international relations at a francophone university in Istanbul. I am very interested in the history and cultures of different countries. Whenever I get the chance, I try to travel, especially visiting museums and walking around.

In general, I enjoy talking to all kinds of people about many different topics, and I particularly enjoy speaking and pronouncing French. Since my parents were working, I took care of certaines of the household chores, and as the older brother of a 12-year-old sister, I was always there for her as she grew up.

I previously spent an unforgettable three weeks in France through the Workaway programme and had a great time. During this experience, I had the opportunity to visit cities like Paris, Lyon, and Annecy, as well as the historic city of Chambery. As part of my volunteer work, I looked after the two children of a very kind couple in the charming village of Col de Tamié. Despite the children being quite lively, spending time with them felt like being part of a family, which brought me great joy.

I can’t go without mentioning how much I love sports. I can admit that my greatest passion in life is football. As the president of a club at our school that consists of football fans, I enjoy going to stadium of different teams matches and play football with my friends almost every week. Besides that, I go to basketball and volleyball stadiums. Although I’m not very good at it yet, I also play tennis in my free time.
