  Description

  Hello,
  We have a little village (10 old and renoveted houses) where people are coming for holidays. It's a great and very beautiful place in the nature near Aix En Provence in the south east of France. There are many outside activities around, as hiking, rafting, paragliding, mountain bike (we can lend you some), motorbike, horse riding... We are surrounded by great wildlife and you can get to the sea on French Riviera in 1.15 hour (about 100km from Marseille, and Cassis where there are beautifull Calanques). We are also very close to nice lakes and the famous Gorges du Verdon (the greatest canyon in France).

  Aide

  We need help for:
  -gardening: around our houses (11) we have lots of flowers and aromatic plants (thyme, sage, rosemary), and littles fields or meadows. So we have to make that nice all over the year and mow the lawn.
  -carpentry and light construction projects...painting. We buid with organic construction material (Anybody with carpentry, electricity, construction skills will fit the place very well-We mostly work surrounded by the nature)
  -cooking: Helpers don't have to be good cooks:-)
  -Art projects: I am a musician (playing the guitar and singing) and I have a band. If some helpers from Workaway want to jam, or play during our concerts here (for birthdays or weddings), they are welcome...
  -We have a second place where we have horses and you are wellcome to help and then to ride for free.

  Hébergement

  You will live in a beautiful old and renovated home.You'll have your own bedroom.
  For the food, of course you don't have to buy anything. Here we usually eat organic food.
  I like cooking so if you want to help you are wellcome for that as well.
  The little city (Forcalquier-5000 inhabitants) close to our hamlet, has lots of restaurants,bars with music, and little shops.

  Autres infos...

  During your time off you can have many outside activities around, as hiking, rafting, paragliding, mountain biking (we can lend you some), horse riding, visiting nice little villages, go to the beach (1.15h). There are also art galleries and little bars with live music in the city of Forcalquier (5 km from our hamlet).
