  Description

  I am a 57-year-old mom with two children (28 yrs my son and 25 yrs my daughter) . My daughter is now living in Thailand .I currently live with my husband and my son and we are looking to offer the chance to a native English speaker of spending some time in Spain (in an affordable manner) in order to introduce them Madrid and do language practice. I have my own business and I am normally very busy (I work online from home), therefore, the only thing I would ask in return is to help me with my English practice for at least 7h a week. The house is very big, with many open spaces, clean, and comfortable. As of right now, we are looking for a person that stays for about 1 month. I consider myself a very social person, who is open-minded, and respectful of other people's cultures.

  If you are looking to have a genuine experience of what it is like to live in a Spanish household, this is your opportunity. We live in a very nice house, clean, and calm, which also has a garden and a swimming pool. You would have your own room, with A/C, and your own bathroom. The house is located in a very nice town that is 15 min away by car from the center of Madrid and 30 min by bus. I will be more than happy to help you with your Spanish skills as well and introduce you to typical foods, traditions, and places. I am a very creative and open-minded person, and I see this exchange as a way to practice my English while we can both benefit from a beautiful cultural exchange.

  Hébergement

  The room where you will be staying is equipped with a single bed, with a big table, a carpet, and wardrobes. The adjacent room has a sofa and a desk so that in case you want to relax or need the space to work/study. There is also a bathroom for yourself with a bathtub.

  There are plenty of things to see and do in Madrid and I'm happy to recommend you places to see and eat and introduce you to local people with whom you can build a relationship and practice your Spanish.
