Hello,
we are a peruvian-german couple, living together in Peru for seven years and we´ve been running a hotel for two years. At the moment we are building eco bungalows with only natural material and we need helping hands to finish, decorate, paint and help building the outside area (garden, bar, barbecue space etc... ).
From January on we hope to have the bungalows (almost) finished so you would help more in the hotel where the tasks are mainly help in maintenance and service with the guests.
We have been working with workaway for many years and made a lot of good experience and many friends from all over the world. For us it is so enjoyable to share our small little paradise with travelers and open-minded people that are interested in getting to know the life in our place.
You will stay in the hotel on the beach, of course your food is included. The beach is around 9km of the city of Huarmey, there are shared taxis between city and beach.
We look for people who could stay at least for 4 weeks.

As we once also used to travel we think that workaway is a great oportunity for us to help and support people from all over the world to get to know this beautiful country in a different way than hopping from one place to another. We love the cultural and individual exchange, are open-minded and interested people that love to interact and learn from each other. Huarmey is a perfect place to learn or improve your spanish as there are no many english speakers around and most of our tourists and guests are peruvian people. You can get to know a tipical fishermen town, small, calm, relaxed and with friendly and warm hearted people. We can offer you a cultural exchange through the contact with the people form Huarmey and the tourists in the hotel, a great chance to learn spanish and get in touch with peruvian culture and customs.
