My name is Bronte, I run and competitive showjumping stable and agistment centre in Arcadia, Sydney. I compete to a high level of showjumping each weekend. I also teach show jumping and dressage lessons. I can also give you lessons on one of my school horses.

There are great walking trails, two big shopping centres with cinemas are 30 minutes away as are two train stations so it's easy to get into Sydney. Sydney is an amazing city, it’s so beautiful and there’s so much to see and do. The beach is an hour away from our place, Berowra Waters is a 20 minute drive and Wisemans Ferry is just a little further and both these places are absolutely beautiful.

Needing help at a showjumping stable in Arcadia, Sydney. General Horse care, mucking out, grooming, feeding and preparing feeds, grading arena. Experiance with horses is essential, also handy if you can drive a quad bike and trailer. If you can ride well there is a possibility for you to ride.

Hébergement

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom in the worker house with myself. TV and DVD WIFI, Queen bed and overhead fans. Lovely back garden an BBQ, I BBQ on most summer nights. I will do a weekly shop where you can come along and add what ever food you like, you welcome to anything in the pantry, I will cook in the evening or we can get takeway. (Fish and chips at the river is the best). We have lots of people coming and going each day so its easy to get a lift to the train to go adventuring or I can take you.

Many of our volunteers save up their days off and go away for 4 days in a row to places like the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Canberra and even New Zealand! It’s easy to be based at our place and feel like you’re right in the middle of the Australian bush, but still get to see a huge amount of Australia as we are so close to Sydney and public transport.
