We are a family of three, my husband Pedro, me and our five-year-old Lola, who is bilingual in English and Spanish. We live in a small town in the north os Spain, Logroño, within a two-hours-trip to three main airports (Vitoria, Bilbao and Zaragoza) and 45 minutes from Pamplona.
We would love to travel with them if they are keen to do so, but we would also guarantee their privacy and leisure time. In other words, the timetable will be crystal clear and we will guarantee they feel comfortable.
My husband and I are both secondary school teachers, and our timetable is similar, but slightly different to Lola's. We have had au pairs a couple of times and the experience has been truly rewarding for both parts. However, we would like to try a new language exchange now that she's getting older, maybe with someone just staying for a few months or looking for something more permanent in the area. We need someone available to take her to school in the mornings (from 7.45 to 9 am) and to spend Tuesday and Thursday evenings playing and talking with her (from 17.00 to 20.00 pm).
We also know several families interested in native English speakers to go a play with their kids once or twice a week, which could provide our workawayer with some extra money.

This is a very small city which burst in culture. We know several places where they could meet other English speakers, but also places to make language exchanges for free. Besides, they would share our meals unless they decided not to, and we would take them to different places worth seeing.

My daughter and I are both bilingual in English, and we would like the workawayer to speak with us in English. Nevertheless, my husband speaks in Spanish and he would be more than pleased to help the person staying with us to cacht up this language.
Single room with shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. They wouldn't be living with us but in a flat nearby, in a new building and belonging to a landlord used to this kind of exchanges (language assistants and lectures are his main customers)
Even thought we live in a small city, social life is quite active here. There's always something to do. Besides, there's a fast train which takes you to Barcelona in 3 hours and several daily buses to Madrid.
We don't smoke and we have no pets because I am alergic to cats and dogs. Our workawayer will have free access to internet and, at home, we have Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime.
