Description
We are a bilingual, plant-based family living the slow life in a lovely village by the Mediterranean Sea. We are Neil, 42 (chef), Yanina, 35, (language teacher) Mylo, 13, and Koby, 8. Our pets are Tango our dog and Leo our kitten. We live in a small Mediterranean town called Benitachell. We come from different parts of the world and seek to meet new people, share and restore our building little by little. We have been in Spain for fifteen years, and we are really looking forward to meeting worawayers!
Somos una familia bilungüe y plant-based compuetas por Neil de 42 años (chef), Yanina, de 35 años, (profe de idiomas) Mylo de 13 y Koby de 8. Nuestras mascotas son Tango nuestro perro y Leo nuestra gatita. Vivimos en una ciudad pequeña mediterranea llamada Benitachell. Provenimos de distintos lados del mundo y buscamos conocer gente nueva, compartir y restaurar nuestro edificio poco a poco. LLevamos en España quince años, y estamos ocn muchas ganas de concoer a worawayers!

We live in a Mediterranean Town called Benitachell. Here we have sunshine pretty much all year around. We are vegan chefs who do a lot more. I (Yanina) am a Mindful Spanish and English teacher; I offer travelers free classes and meditations. My husband (Neil) is a chef, and we will provide you with nourishing vegan/alkaline meals to get you healthy and strong! And you can learn to cook with us as well!
Vivimos en un pueblo mediterráneo llamado Benitachell. Aquí tenemos sol casi todo el año. Somos chefs veganos que hacemos mucho más. Yo (Yanina) soy profesora de español e inglés de Mindful; ofrezco a los viajeros clases y meditaciones gratuitas. ¡Mi esposo (Neil) es chef y le proporcionaremos comidas veganas/alcalinas nutritivas para que esté saludable y fuerte! ¡Y tú también puedes aprender a cocinar con nosotros!

Inglés - We have a wonderful, old, and historic townhouse. Used to be a business but we want to turn it into our home. We need help in different area like painting, sanding, repairing, etc. We also want to create a little urban garden in our patio with permaculture and vertical gardening. We would like help mostly painting and doing some repairs as well as planting and creating an indoor garden. We also would love to learn new languages and cultures so exchange is also welcome.
Español - Tenemos una casa adosada maravillosa, antigua e histórica. Solía ser un negocio pero queremos convertirlo en nuestro hogar. Necesitamos ayuda en diferentes áreas como pintar, lijar, reparar, etc. También queremos crear un pequeño jardín urbano en nuestro patio con permacultura y jardinería vertical. Nos gustaría ayuda principalmente para pintar y hacer algunas reparaciones, así como para plantar y crear un jardín interior. También nos encantaría aprender nuevos idiomas y culturas, por lo que el intercambio también es bienvenido.

There is public transport (bus) taking you to most of the other towns in the area. It also connects you to Alicante and Valencia airoport. Benitachell is a small village with lovely vineyards all around and beautiful country views as well as the famous Cala Moraig, one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. We live near the Mediterranean and its truly amazing. You can visit the different towns nearby, all equally stunning. There are many mountains and tracking paths all over, olive groves, and of course many cafés and restaurants. Valencia is an hour and a half away and Alicante an hour. There are waterfalls and natural parks all around as well. You can go SUP Paddle or kayaking, biking, rock climbing, and many other activities both in nature and in towns.
Hay transporte público (autobús) que te lleva a la mayoría de los otros pueblos de la zona. También te conecta con el aeropuerto de Alicante y Valencia. Benitachell es un pequeño pueblo con hermosos viñedos alrededor y hermosas vistas al campo, así como a la famosa Cala Moraig, una de las playas más bonitas de España. Vivimos cerca del Mediterráneo y es realmente increíble. Puedes visitar los diferentes pueblos cercanos, todos igualmente impresionantes. Hay muchas montañas y senderos por todas partes, olivares y, por supuesto, muchos cafés y restaurantes. Valencia está a una hora y media y Alicante a una hora. Hay cascadas y parques naturales por todas partes también. Puedes practicar SUP Paddle o kayak, bicicleta, escalada y muchas otras actividades tanto en la naturaleza como en la ciudad.

Tenemos un perro, pero el espacio es separado por lo que no tendría inconveniente mientras no moleste a los vecinos! We havea dog, but in a separated space so it wouldn´t be an inconvenient as long as it doesn´t bother our neighbours!
