Looking for volunteers to live and learn at the farm in Ban Non-Sawang, Thailand

  Description

  We are the farmer in Ban Non-Sawang, Si Muangmai District,Ubon Ratchathani,Thiland. We live in a small farm, growing rice, planting vegetables, having a fish pond, and raising buffalos. Since there is not many buffalos left in nowadays, so we are trying to preserve them as the old days we used to have. Most of the people use the tractor to work on their farmsbut we use buffalos to work on the farm. They help us to plough the land, we use their poop to make fertilizer for the farm. We called our farm "Thai Buffalos Preservation Farm".

  We are looking for someone who are willing to share and learn the life style of local living.
  We are looking for someone to learn about buffalos.
  We are looking for someone to work on the farm such as planting veggies, planting rice or plough the land with our buffalos.
  We are looking for someone who is interested in music and art work.
  All of what we do, we are trying to create the community of sustainable living and we hope in the near future we will be the learning center of sharing and helping people for food security.

  Hébergement

  We provide two small cottages for you. The first one is surrounded by the green rice paddy field. The other is by the fish pond under the arms of the lighting star. At night you will hear the songs from forgs and crickets and the birds will also sing for you in the morning
  
  We cook what we grow. We eat what we have in our farm.

• 

  Autres infos...

  You can ride the buffalos or a bicycles for sight seeing.
  You can swim or hunt for the fish in the pond.
  You can visit the waterfall or even can go camping on the mountain.
  You can just do what you like if you don't want to go anywhere else.
