  Description

  We are an equestrian tourism business which organises horse riding holidays across Sicily (for riders from around the world) and runs daily rides from within the beautiful Madonie Natural Park, in the territory of Cefalu, on the north coast of Sicily. We have a herd of wonderful Sicilian horses who live out all year round. We are looking for someone who is ready for an adventure and passionate about learning more about Sicily and equestrian tourism. Candidates must have at least an intermediate level of horse riding ability and their own means of transport.
  
  It is run by Alex and Lizzie. Alex is half French and half Sicilian, and is a real expert when it comes to Sicily. Lizzie is English and also speaks fluent French and Italian.

  Workawayers will not only have the opportunity to learn about horse care and equestrian tourism, but also to experience a life that is truly at one with nature, spending almost all of their time outdoors in the beautiful Sicilian countryside. They will also have the chance to get to know Sicily, and to learn about its fascinating culture and history. Sicily is a truly unique place, blessed with outstanding and incredibly varied natural beauty.

  Aide

  We are looking for people to help us with the general upkeep of our lovely horses, including feeding, keeping an eye on the herd generally, exercising the horses, preparing the horses for excursions and possibly guiding short day rides. Workawayers would be based in a small house just 5 minutes on foot from our base, 25 minutes by car from the beautiful seaside town of Cefalu, and they must have their own means of transport to be able to do food shopping, go to Cefalu, etc. In return for working, we will provide accommodation and will cover the costs of food. Candidates must have at least an intermediate level of horse riding ability.
