We would Love to have our au pair actively involved with us as a family and to also care for the children, and to take them to and from activities at times, some light house work, some meal planning and running errands. We want our au pair to feel like part of the family and want you to feel comfortable and we are very much wanting open communication for you to feel relaxed and at peace in our home.
Our routine would consist of getting the children off to school (when not in the summer) and daycare, and for you to be home when they arrive from the bus and to pick up our youngest from daycare. We’d like a schedule of reading , homework help and relaxing time, outdoor time and doing family meals together is important to us. We often go out to eat at restaurants and will do spontaneous trips.
Doing meal planning and prep would be helpful, as well as running some errands. We want you to feel comfortable to have your own free time. We are flexible and open minded to accommodate your needs.

We have an average to large sized home in the suburbs, we have a lovely neighborhood with a water view. Many large rooms to play and relax in. Also a large newly renovated basement area that will be for you, with a lovely room, your own bathroom and family room to enjoy.
quispamsis, nb was rated the best family town to live in canada. it is a beautiful, well developed, suburban area on the water with many shops and great restaurants. we are 10 minutes from the beautiful historical city of saint john which is a port city for cruise ships.
we also have gorgeous property on a lake 45 minutes from our home where we can spend summers to be on the water and also visit and stay year round. they have a farm nearby with horses and many other animals.

Dogs welcome and we also have a dog. So as long as they are easy going around other dogs. Our dog is a golden retriever and he is so good with other dogs. Sorry we cannot have cats due to allergies.
