  Description

  We’re a family of 4 living in historic Antigua Guatemala.
  
  My wife and I are both working professionals and we have 2 young and very sweet daughters; Yara will turn 4 in January and Cali just turned 2 this past October. We’re proponents of gentle parenting, Montessori method, clean and healthy eating, and maximizing self-guided play and outdoor time for our girls. We have a place with a huge and amazing garden featuring a massive bamboo plant, several palms, plantain trees, and coffee plants. We love to sit around our outdoor fireplace at night under our garden lights. Our guest room is detached from the main house and has a very comfortable bed and bathroom with a hot shower.

  Antigua is a true gem of Latin America, one of the Unesco world heritage sites. It’s one of the best places on earth to learn spanish, be it through a local english-spanish school or private tutor, both can be very affordable. There is an incredible active volcano hike with guided tours that leave from Antigua, something that most people would only dream about being able to see, it’s truly spectacular.

  We just need childcare in the afternoons, the rest of the time is yours to enjoy!
  
  We’re looking for a nanny to help us out during weekdays when the girls return home from school from 1pm to 5pm.

  I have a home office which is detached from our main house which you are more than welcome to use (quiet, professional office etiquette is expected). We have Starlink internet and everything is on battery backup for 100% uptime!

  Spayed and neutered dogs and cats are acceptable. Dogs must be calm in nature and not excited by cats and must be experienced being around small children. If your dog does not have good recall or obedience characteristics it will not be a fit for our home. Cats must be litter trained. We have 1 small female cat and 2 dogs; one large male Dane/Lab cross and 1 medium female mix rescue.
