  Description

  Dear au pair, welcome to our home! I am sure you will be happy to spend a part of your adventure around the world with us! We are an active and sunny family, we like to go hiking in the mountains, walks to the lake and in the shopping centers, go out with friends and any activity that can somehow make us spend pleasant days. My children are 3 and 6 years old, Amie is very lively, cheerfull and creative while her brother Wayne is always ready for jokes and he is getting very curious about the world. We would be very pleased to host you to learn a little about your history, your dreams, future projects and goals. In exchange we can introduce you to our beautiful village, let you taste some typical dishes and, in general, share our daily life with you.

  Aide

  Create activities and establishing a fun routine that can intrigue and stimulate children to speak the English language. Our house is equipped for fun! We have slides, trampoline, swimming pool and various outdoor games so that it will be very easy for you to organize your time together with the kids while I'm out working. Do not stress yourself, just play and let your imagination run wild! Ah, we are homeschoolers so that if you can even teach some of your skills that will be a plus!

  Hébergement

  Our lake view house has a beautiful garden and is located in a very quiet location. Surrounded by paths and meadows, it is just a few minutes' walk from the town center. For you we will provide a bedroom furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, desk and table, completely independent and with private bathroom. We have WiFi connection and also the TV is of the latest generation (SMART). Our house has two floors with entrance from the garden and on the first floor it has a large kitchen equipped with all the essential tools. The living room consisting of a comfortable sofa, fireplace and an extra table to do some works out and a balcony with a magnificent panorama. Bathroom with shower is located on the first floor and from the internal staircase you will reach the second floor where the bedrooms are arranged, there is an other panoramic balcony on the countryside and an extra bathroom with tub.

  Bossico is a small town of about 1000 inhabitants. In the historic center there are all the services, library, town hall, school, pharmacy, supermarket, hairdresser, post office, pizzeria, hotel, farm holidays, campsites, tobacconist's and bars. It's a mountain town and during the summer time it is populated with many daily and seasonal tourists. It is a favorite destination for lovers of trekking and cycling as it can be reached from a scenic road and it has lots of trail for enjoy within the nature. It is about 40 km from Bergamo (main town) and 15 from Lovere (center of art and lake tourism) and every day there are some buses that will make easy for you to reach all the main actractions of the areas. During our free time we love to organize small and medium excursions, we like being outdoors and being inspired by the surrounding landscape. In Bossico there is a beautiful pine forest (very cool in summer) where it is very pleasant to walk but for our trips outside the city we are also very attracted to the lake, both for practicing sports and for picnics or long bike rides. If you want to join us we will be able to involve you during our outings to discover the area (we have chosen to homeschool instead of attending a traditional school just to have all the time necessary to get to know our country). We love listening to music, painting, making puzzles, read and play board games so that, on rainy days, we always have something fun to keep us busy.
