We are a new startup organization looking to develop tourism in an emerging destination in Naryn province, Kyrgyzstan. As a private enterprise, we work within our community to serve as an 'inclusive' type operator with hopes to mobilize stakeholders (private guesthouses and homestays, tour operators, guides and individuals) across the community. Experience nomadic life and live as the Kyrgyz have done for generations. With this assignment, you will work with Kyrgyz, and live with Kyrgyz. You will start to understand Kyrgyz traditions, learn of culinary methods and cuisines, and perhaps Kyrgyz language! Most of all you will learn of wonderful Kyrgyz hospitality.
You will be part of a startup type opportunity, assisting in creating a new destination for tourism in our country moving ahead.
Hello, we're a newly created yurt camp-We're looking for workaway volunteers for our yurt camp.
We invite you to beautiful Ok-Torkoy valley, located in mountains, 67 km from Kochkor village, Naryn region and just 70 km from the most visited picturesque alpine lake Son Kul. This is a new yurt camp serving tourists on eco-tourism, horse trekkings and mountain biking.
The Yurt Camp is currently developing as an upcoming tourism spot with unique nature offering various opportunities for summer (yurt camping, horse trekking, hiking and possibly mountain biking) and possibly winter tourism (freeride skiing). Travel to Ok-Torkoy valley will become an unforgettable adventure for anyone who loves nomad life, horse trekking and fresh mountain air.
We want to host a volunteer to assist in areas related to basic marketing (including online and social media), as well as to serve to teach basic English to our partner stakeholders. Our English skills are low, and thus it would be preferred if volunteers have basic skills and/or understanding of Russian or Turkish (close to Kyrgyz) for communication purposes. The volunteer would be expected to assist with efforts to promote the yurt camp and its surroundings. Additionally, assistance is needed to assist in identification, creation and promotion of new tour products foreseen for development.
We can provide food and accomodation. Duration of stay is dependent on both parties, but we are looking for people to stay at our place at least 1 month up to the mid of September.

Visit Son Kul Lake, ony 60 km from here, and one of the most popular destinations in all of Kyrgyzstan. In off time, there is opportunity for nearby hiking, horse trekking, fishing, and/or identifying other outdoor activities in the steppe and mountains surrounding beautiful . Or just relax and enjoy your time...
