Hi,hello..I am Stephen Pepper,72 years old,English,single and i love to travel and meet new people.I spent 14 years working in Japan/Germany/Italy and Finland teaching English to business people...it was the perfect way to travel and meet varied and interesting people. Since i retired i have returned to teaching English to business people on a voluntary basis.... i have attended 52 programmes in Poland/Slovakia/The Czech Republic,Hungary,Romania, Spain and Germany. The programmes are quite intensive and are mostly on a one-to-one basis...
everything is conversation based..(with correction and advice/tips etc).no grammar,exercises, tests,tables,spelling etc. the system is very effective and works for everyone,many companies send their employees and other people pay for themselves. The 'Anglo's are from all the English speaking countries which is great, as it gives the 'students' experience of many different accents and varied vocabulary. I find attending these programmes very stimulating ,great fun and a wonderful way to share information and make new friends of all ages and backgrounds. (The companies use websites including 'workaway' to recruit 'teachers') I also like spending time at home in Felixstowe , a seaside,port town on the east coast in Suffolk England.I enjoy,running (short distances) riding a bike,walking,,with and without Norwegian walking poles,swimming,cross country skiing, gardening,playing cards and basic cooking. I also love to travel,I like all forms of transport and like to visit new places and return to special places,which for me include Japan,Italy,India,Madeira ,Poland and Spain.
My first workaway experience was in March 2020,in Japan,it was very enjoyable and i met some great people,yes i was the oldest in the group but it was no problem.

I like talking to people and listening to people and exchanging views and experiences.
I like gardening...
I only have basic IT skills ,the same with mechanical skills..
I can perform regular,ordinary,day to day tasks but i am not really an expert in anything !
