Hello hello to the world! I'm Rose. Though have been known by other names, most recently Sunshine due to the smile on my face. I am travelling through life with my fella Alex, he’s lovely and a very capable builder/all round doer and helper. We are outrageously friendly people, or at least he is. We are searching for the ways of reconnecting ourselves with a natural rhythm. At the core we are finding the ways we can be of service to others, the planet and our collective healing. I am looking to find places where the values of communal organising, learning and living creatively, without borders are strong but in somewhere a bit more wild than the city where I have typically found those folk. Sous les pavés, la Terre, out of the city- the wilds. I have had a few travels in my life with experience of living within a self sustaining, cyclic-ecosystems on farmsteads etc was incredibly nourishing and enlightening for me. At this moment I am looking to stay on UK soil and get to grips with the place I am from, share some ideas, learn some new skills, retrieve bits of local history, get to know the bio regions. I feel a real synergy with plants, I have studied herbalism and am continually leaning into those studies as there is always more. I have some foraging proficiency and like to cook and ferment with the wild and herbal things I find. I am a chef by trade and I am keen to learn more about where our food is grown- i would love to visit some biodynamic farms and get stuck in with a sustainable modern horticulture. I also have a natural affinity with animals. I am craving the simplicity of being with the seasons and my / our thoughts. I am also interested in alternative methods of educating and learning, especially in non-hierarchal communal skill sharing situations where we can all be on one level growing, evolving and adapting together. I'm super excited to meet you, whichever amazing person I will come across on this next stage of my learning and loving journey. :))

I am fit and athletic so can help build, I have in the past built wooden cottages from scratch out of materials found in the forest in occupied land. I love to cook, delicious, nourishing vegan food, having used this as a means to make money and to connect people without involving any money, for a few years now. I am exploring wild plant healing and medicines- the ways in which we can nourish, regulate and protect our bodies with plant mixtures or tisannes from common plants. I work really well with animals being able to bond easily and communicate with them through body language having grown up with a lot of dogs and since living on a farm with chickens and sheep. I also sew and am good at fixing things if needed. I like to express myself creatively and like to make spaces beautiful wherever i go meaning painting, decorating and crafting etc.
