Hi, I’m Megan and a 21 year old Business and Spanish student from Ireland.

I absolutely love traveling, trying new things, meeting new people, and everything in between.
I’ve been interested in doing a work away ever since my parents started hosting them at home in 2018.

I’m a very outgoing bubbly individual, who adores animals. I come from a big animal household of 4 house dogs, 2 cats, and a yard of horses.

In terms of work experience I am a very hard worker. I’ve been working in hospitality since the age of 15, and have always had a part time job, even while studying. Any hospitality work will be no problem as I’m well used to greeting new people, and making sure everyone’s having a good time.

I love to cook. I cook dinner for my parents and our work away most nights of the week. I follow a vegan diet but am very easy fed and often make a meal out of nothing. I’m always inventing new recipes and trying out new bakes. Over the Christmas holidays I baked cookies, cinnamon rolls, salted chocolate tarts, mince pies, chocolate bark, bread and butter pudding, etc.

During lockdown I’ve taken up a new hobby of painting which I learned from a previous work away and to my surprise have people asking me to do paintings for them.

I can help with many jobs around the house such as painting, gardening, cleaning, and doing the shopping.
