Hi!
My name is Laci, I'm 33 years old and I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma USA. I love to travel and experience new places and meet new people.

I first visited Europe when I was seven years old, came back at 25 and again at 28. I think about it all the time. My heart belongs to where I'm from. My heritage is Italian and English. I am in awe of Europe and it's people, history, architecture, culture, food and art.

I did the tourist thing in 2015 and I learned that seeing all the sites day after day is not awesome but I felt.. unsatisfied. I knew when I went back I wanted to go somewhere off the beaten path and that I wanted it to feel like a more authentic experience... I wanted it to feel like I lived there. And so in 2018 I found my first workaway opportunity and it was perfect. Exactly what my soul wanted and needed. And I'm ready for more.

I am a videographer, photographer and painter. I've been painting since I was 17, I've been a professional photographer for the last 12 years and I started video a few years ago. I am blessed to be self employed. I have my own company and shoot videos and photos for businesses.

My hobbies include painting, playing my ukulele and piano, cooking! hanging out with my awesome cat (Birdie), going to the climbing gym, working out, being outside! I also love to read and write.

I have a big heart. I love people and hearing their stories. Every person is so valuable. I have a big family that I love and I am blessed to have some really good friends. I love being where the people are. All that to say, I also love my solitude... a lot. :)

I have a HUGE appreciation for nature and beauty. I will photograph and paint the beautiful landscapes that I find. I am close to God and care about the earth, others and myself. I also love hiking, biking, gardening, kayaking, paddle boarding and really just about anything outside.

I have always been a hard worker and I love to work with others/teamwork. I also love to work with my hands... gardening, cooking , really any sort of manual labor I find enjoyable and the feeling of a job well done is the best.

I'm looking for a beautiful cultural exchange filled with community and joy.

I would love to become a part of a team/community abroad. I am open to staying long term if the place is right. I enjoy diving deep into authentic culture and experiencing a country/city to its fullest.

I am an artist of all sorts. I've been painting for the last 16 years. I paint with oils, acrylics and watercolor. I have been a professional photographer for the last 12 years. I shoot primarily for businesses. I play the ukulele and love music. I love to dance and sing, although I am not a good singer. :) I love to be in nature, in the garden, walking, biking, hiking. I love philosophy and history, writing and storytelling.
