Descripción
Hi there!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. My name is Inge and I'm a 35-year-young woman from the Netherlands. I've traveled a lot (but not nearly enough) and lived in several places around the world. I've been traveling for almost 2 years and have had some amazing WorkAway experiences. I've volunteered at an animal rescue center in Tenerife, helped out with the Marketing of a hostel in Ecuador, guided horse tours on the beach for a local animal rescue center, and accidentally involved myself in some weird cult (let's call it a WorkAway beginner's mistake).
Corona took me back to my roots in Holland where I now live a simple life on a farm in the south of the country. Even though I'm living on a farm, Holland has one of the highest population densities on the planet and there is no real wildlife. It is my goal to find a Workaway to reconnect with nature. Preferably a place in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the sounds of the wind blowing and the birds singing. I feel drawn towards Portugal for the simple reason that I see holistics initiatives popping up everywhere there! This might be great match with the magical place I'm looking for. I'm on a mission to add peace, light, love and laughter to a place that values the same.
In the list below are some of my personal goals for 2023:
-Spending more time with nature
-Surrounding myself with as many animals as possible (horses, dogs and guineapigs are my specialty)
-Healing people and land or animals with my Merkaba healing techniques (I'm currently in training)
-Focussing on self-development, spirituality, and meditation
-Working with nature and my hands instead of my head.
-Gardening
-Baking and cooking (not very good at it yet, but willing to learn!Intereses

Organizing events
In my current job, I organize events around the food transition. My dream is to organize retreats and holistic events. In my personal life, I already do so with friends and that taste like more!
Merkaba healing
Humans have a physical body and a consciousness in which all life experience is stored. It is possible with special exercises to expand human consciousness to its maximum attainable size. This expanded field of consciousness is called a merkaba. The word "mer" stands for the universal divine source, the word "ka" stands for your own total mind or consciousness, and the word "ba" is the Egyptian word for body.In the training as a Multiple Merkaba Healer, you will learn how to make these merkabas productive in order to provide highly effective healing in a professional manner. I'm still a student and completed level 2 out of 6. This year I will also complete level 3, 4 and maybe 5.
Healing Touch for Animals (HTA)
Healing Touch for Animals (HTA) is energy therapy for animals. It teaches pet owners and animal advocates specific techniques and applications to promote wellness, provide support through injury or illness, help with behavior issues and enhance the animal/human bond. Currently I'm an HTA student completed two out of six levels. I would love to gain experience with these techniques during my next Workaway!
Animal care
I grew up with all kinds of animals. At home, we had a pig, dog, rabbits and I owned my own horse. I've worked 4 months for a animal rescue center in Tenerife. Being surrounded by animals is a big plus!
Social Design
I studied Social Design. I've learned to innovate and improve organizations' concepts of services, experiences, and events to improve the quality of life for every party involved. Improving the quality of life is one of my biggest drivers in life.
Hosting
For several years, I worked with people while being a hostess at events. I also worked in restaurants and shops. I love to work with people and have strong social skills. What I do best is organize and create experiences your audience won't easily forget. I believe the secret lies within the details, observing your clients, and listening closely to what they want.
Salsa
For many years I dance Salsa and I was so lucky to be able to join a show team, that performed at Salsa parties. I would love to share my passion and hope to teach other potential Salsa lovers what I`ve learned.
I would describe myself as a passionate, positive, and curious person that loves learning new things. I'm very open to new cultures and lifestyles and I'm punctual, trustworthy, and love to have fun!:DEdad
