Hi, I'm Alex, I'm interested in traveling around north/central/south America the Caribbean and, Asia. I have spent the last few years working as a builder on construction sites as well as being a fully qualified plumber. I have extensive knowledge and experience in various aspects of construction as well as in highway maintenance. Equipment wise: I am able to competently use tractors, mowers, strimmers, disc-cutters and assorted plant and power tools, and am always very happy to learn new techniques. I am keen to learn new building techniques, both modern and traditional. I have always had a passion for travel and love to experience new tastes, languages, and cultures from around the world. I have a huge passion for music and history and would love to explore the diversity of music and my host country's history throughout my travels.

I am capable of advanced groundwork such as; drainage, foundation laying, concreting, bricklaying, patio laying, and landscaping to a high standard as all of these fields have been part of my working career. I consider myself to be a hardworking people person who enjoys conversation and a good laugh at the end of the day. I can put up stud walls and do plasterboarding. I am a fully qualified plumber and a competent landscaper. I have 3 younger siblings and therefore have PLENTY of experience with children and am more than happy to help around the house with household duties and chores!
