  Hello, I am Eias from Ecuador, we have a small guest house near the center of Guayaquil. We just opened in December and we need a little help to make this a nice place. It has three rooms for rent, each equipped with a double bed so there can be up to six guests at the same time. We like to cook together or explore Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador. Despite the bad reputation, you'll be surprised that there's actually a lot to see and do here. Just outside Casa Pachamac you can see mangroves and sometimes iguanas. Santay Island is also worth visiting, it is a nature reserve where you can see crocodiles, for example. We also offer day trips in Guayaquil, you may have the opportunity to join us. We will surely be more than happy to provide you with information on what to do in Guayaquil.

  People from all over the world come to us and most of them are happy to have a little conversation and exchange. In the past couple of months we have cooked together, visited the center and had drinks. Most people speak Spanish so you can improve your language skills. You can also learn english with the international guests. We can explore Guayaquil together.

  I need help in my small guest house in Guayaquil. I started hosting people from all over the world a couple of months ago, so there's still a lot to do. You can help in different areas. If you like to paint, for example, you could do a mural, or if you know a thing or two about marketing, you could help out with social media. Some days you will be in charge of the house, you will help the guests if they need something, you will do the laundry and a little cleaning.

  You will have a double bed in a shared room, the room is very large and full of beautiful plants with a balcony facing the street. There are two bathrooms, both shared with the other guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen for your use. You will also receive your own key to the apartment.

  The apartment is located just in front of a small riverside promenade called “Malecón Salado”. It’s within walking distance to the center. Right around the corner is a bus station, one ticket costs 30 cent and the bus goes to the center, the airport and bus terminal and all the way north. On the end of the street there’s a park where people like to exercise. In the center you can visit the Iguana Park, the main riverside promenade Malecón 2000 (there’s a Ferris Wheel!) go to the market or take the stairs up to the lighthouse at Cerro Santa Ana.
  On your days off you could make a trip to the beach or to the mountains, Cuenca for example is perfect for a 2-day trip. The beach is about an hour away by bus.

  The internet connection is pretty good and reliable. You can work easily from the apartment, in your private room or in the living room
