We are a guesthouse in Vilanculos; located right on the beach, between the sea and the unpaved road of the lovely village. In front of picturesque fishing dhows and fisherman's activity, astonishing tide and sunrise and the beautiful view of Bazaruto Archipelago nest beautiful cabanas, suitable for couples or friends traveling together.
Baraka is just the perfect place for those who are looking for something more original and rustic. Baraka offers that authentic experience in its beautiful Eco and all natural & local materials built cabanas, each with sea view, pool view or garden view; terraces, private bathroom and shower, include bath and pool towels, natural handmade beds equipped with orthopedic medicinal mattresses, white linens and mosquito nets.
We have a total capacity of 22 people in 11 rooms. We serve drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner in our bar/restaurant area. We want our guests to have a great time and the best experience in a good holiday. Our guests come from all over the world to enjoy a short or longer stay at our lovely place.
We currently having 11 local staff member, divided in cleaning, maintenance, guards, bar and restaurant.

You will be around with the locals and get to know their culture. Our staff will be willing to teach you about their daily life's, cooking and you will be able to learn Portuguese.

Help us organise with the staff during their shifts, make sure the rooms are prepared for the guests and control all maintenance is done. We are looking for a flexible person, who can help wherever is needed.
We are looking for someone who can help out the manager while she is not around. The person needs to be there for the guests and help them with all sorts of questions, arrange their activities and plans their trips.

The food will be for free, as far its in the menu. all drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, need to be paid for.

If you have time off, there are plenty of activities to do. You can visit the Bazaruto island or do a sunset tour, learn kitesurfing or learn how to prepare local food.
