  Descripción

  The organisation has been leading a non-profit theatre festival for over 34 years in a rural region of France. The main word of this event is participation; participation of the artists, of the local community and maybe now your participation.
  
  The festival is on tour in the country during 3 to 4 weeks every summer, and ends with a weekend located at a really specific place: an old church at the top of a hill, in a deep valley. Super pretty place, especially in summertime. Sometimes the tasks can be hard, but the good, warm and friendly atmosphere is making the full difference at the end of the day.   In evenings the volunteer has of course access to all the shows.

  They can learn teamwork, and meet with a lot of people : artists, spectators, other workers... Our festival is moving, so people can discover the wonderful landscapes and small towns of Corrèze, and discover how we bring theatre everywhere.

  Ayuda

  We are willing to have volunteers, not just for the amount of help, but to give the possibility to a young foreigner to have a human experience, in the art field and especially theatre.
  The best would be to have a volunteer with a strong interest in art, (also nature a bit…), available for a month in summer from roughly the 20th of july to the 20 of august.
  
  The mission will be mainly helping around with the construction of the stage, helping visitors for information, artists and the administration with the global organisation.
  A driving licence is a plus. Speaking French too.

  Alojamiento

  The full team (artists, technicians, administrations and volunteers, so about 20 peoples) of the festival will be living in a big house not far from the events sites. There are many rooms and dormitories, to share mainly.

  The organisation is willing to create with the volunteer a constructive working relation. We are fully pro the exchange of experiences, and hope about it.
  The area is really pretty, if you like castles, lacs, forests and friendly people. It is super touristic during the summer, somehow English and Dutch people seems to especially enjoy the area.
  In our point this experience can be a good possibility to for you to discover differently France and especially Corrèze, by being in contact with people and during a summer theater festival.
