Looking for some help with a renovation project in a semi rural area in the north coast of Spain.

  We are a family with three children who lives in a semi rural area in the north coast of Spain. We loves animals, we have 3 horses, 5 dogs and 2 cats . We love nature as well and we enjoy being outside, doing surfing, trekking, horse riding or climbing. Mum practice Yoga and owns an Asthanga Yoga Studio. Daddy does dogs therapy with disable people. We are planning to start doing Horse therapy by September and we need some help to renewal the farm to adapt for the new necessities. We lives close to de beach (walking distance ) and to the main city Gijón, 4 km distance.

  As a family we have strong sense of respect for children, animals and nature. We can speak english, french and spanish, even the children speak good english. Dad can teach volunteers how to handle horses and dogs respectfully, how to train dogs as we have dogs for rescue people and therapy with disabilities. We always looking for the well-being of our horses and dogs. How we feed them, train them and spend time with them. Dos and horses have teach us the loyalty, the trust and what really matters in our lives. They teach us to be slow, not rush.

  Ayuda

  We are looking for volunteers who help us in the rehabilitation of the cowshed. We want to transform it in a new space for working with therapy horses. We only have to work in the inside, take away concrete walls and then paint the walls and prepare the floor for the horses, putting sand on it.

  In the stable there is a little apartment, with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It is 200 meters from our house in the rural area close to the city of Gijón.

  Two years ago we have a very nice experience with a couple of volunteers, one of them from New Zealand, and another one from Mexico. The were great boys and we have a nice relationship still with them . Our children loves them!!
