we are a small farm and stables situated in the beautiful country side of cavan Ireland, we are close to the village of mullagh and virginia and a short drive to kells and cavan, where there are good public transport routes to the larger cities.
we have a variety of animals goats hens dogs cats ponys and horses, at weekends and school holidays we run a very busy pony club so there will be lots of children around the farm. and we expect all visitors to the farm to act responsibly and with saftey in mind.

now looking for immediate start preferably 2 men as a lot of the volunteer work we need doing right now is very heavy manual stuff, Building DIY experience is essential, you must be able to work on own with out constant supervision, we are looking for workaways to help lighten our work not make work for us.
we are looking for some help from September to clear a woodland area so we can access it and make an adventer area there, clearing of an out building and also a small excavation project we will be starting at the back of the house, you will be expected to help with these jobs and help out caring for the horses ponies and other animals around the farm so a love of animals is necassary, experience with caring for horses and equipment is an advantage. Working on a farm is a mucky job so be prepared to get dirty. you will have a shared room and all meals provided. if you stay at the farm during your days off you will be expected to help out wit the prepreation of the meals and the normal day to day cores that the family share in doing.
