My name is Jim, I am Irish living in Costa Rica for the past 15 years. I am the owner of the Hotel located in Cabuya, 2kms away from the beautiful Cabo Blanco National Park, and 7km from Montezuma, in the Puntarenas Province.
I am a bold honest man always up for a good laugh and a beer. I used to work as a scientist back in Ireland and am passionate about the diverse Costa Rican ecosystem that surrounds the hotel.
As the name suggests, the Hotel is home to a group of monkeys living in the trees above, as well as many iguanas, insects, and my four dogs I love more than anything. We have 5 cabins and can accommodate up tp 30 people. During high season we also provide BBQs on the beach, which are a great opportunity to meet the world travelers who come stay at the hotel.
There is plenty to do around the hotel, surfing, kayaking, spear fishing, snorkeling, bicycles, fishing rods or go for nature walks near to the waterfalls and jungles surrounding the area. (all equipment provided).
We also have a swap library. Mostly English books.Few German.
So if you like Irish music, biodiversity, and sharing stories to the sound of howler monkeys, then the Hotel is the place for you.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

You also will have the opportunity to learn how to surf at the many surf schools present in the surroundings.
Finally you will learn from all of the people that you'll meet. We get a wide variety of travelers coming to the hotel each year, and they all have interesting stories to tell.Ayuda
I mostly need help at the hotel. I need an organized person skilled in computer who can help me with bookings, welcoming guests, and the day to day tasks that come with the running of a small hotel.

It was our first workaway and it was a great experience!
