  • Description

Hi! I am a 19 year old student, studying biology at the University of Edinburgh - which I absolutely love!!

I have lived most of my life in Asia, seven years in Beijing and two years in Hong Kong. Living in Asia has definitely enhanced my love of adventure, and I am all for learning and experiencing something new! On top of that I love meeting new people!

I love travelling and experiencing new and fascinating cultures - which ever place I go to I always try to fully immerse myself and go for every opportunity I get. Some of my other hobbies include: running, hiking in mountainous areas, reading (especially thrillers and books about sustainability), and watching movies and animal documentaries. Most of all I love playing with my two dogs, it brings me so much joy!

  • More details about your skills

I am very hard working and put as much effort as I can in everything I do! I also really like trying new things, think it is one of the beauties of life.

I received a 44 out of 45 in IB (international baccalaureate, which is an recognised programme equivalent to A level).

Recently, in my gap year, I worked in an elderly care home in the uk taking care of residents with dementia, and I worked in a Mexican restaurant as a bartender. Both of these jobs I loved immensely! Also I have done many temp jobs that have involved general maintenance and cleaning, and am very happy to help out with any handy jobs that need doing.

Furthermore I done a large amount of volunteering, including helping refugee children with reading and playing sport games, and organising food runs to deliver leftover food from shops and restaurants to charities all around HK.
